What is "VMUG"?

Officially launched in August of 2010, VMUG is an independent, global, customer-led organization, created to empower technologists through knowledge sharing, training, collaboration and events focused on maximizing their use of VMware Cloud Foundation and the broader technologies needed in their ever-evolving role.

What kind of membership options does VMUG offer?

VMUG offers two types of memberships for IT practitioners and experts. The first is VMUG Advantage - packed with powerful and impactful benefits including VMware certification discounts, training, exclusive event experiences and so much more for just $210/year. Our second membership is VMUG Free - a general membership that provides access to virtual content, local events and some training and resources materials to help you up level your virtualization skills.

What kind of members does VMUG have?

Within our more than 150,000 global members, we have IT practitioners who are new in their career to those looking at succession planning after decades navigating the IT landscape.
