Meet The VMUG Board of Directors
2026 | VMUG Board President
Brenda Emerson
Navigating the changes we've seen in IT over the last decade is a complex task for any IT professional - doing it alone? Exponentially harder. VMUG is truly a community. A place where folks all around the world can come together to laugh, solve complex IT challenges and ultimately support one another. We're better professionals after attending a VMUG event, yes, but we're even better connected afterwards.
"I believe in VMUG because I believe in our members. It's why I've gone from a member myself, to a speaker, to now the current Board President. Making the connections I have with members all around the world has made me a better leader, a better CTO and ultimately a better me."
I encourage you to jump in. Find a local meeting, connect on social with folks asking similar questions as yourself or register for an event - you won't regret it. And I'm willing to bet you'll come back for more once you do. We're glad you're here.
